Who we are
Rooted Actives is a mushroom & plant-based supplement brand in India, founded in 2020 in Gurugram. We make functional mushroom, Ayurvedic herb and plant-nutrition supplements and we publish a third-party lab report for every batch we release.
We started Rooted Actives because most people who want to look after their health can't tell what is really in the bottle. Labels list impressive ingredient names, but doses stay hidden, extracts stay vague and test results are nowhere to be found. We built this brand to change that.
Today, our range of organic health supplements reaches 5M+ customers across India. Every product follows one rule: if we can't show you the proof, we don't sell it.
OUR STORY · A LETTER FROM OUR FOUNDER
I believe in radical transparency, real ingredients and formulas that make a real difference. Because when you choose better, everything gets better.
I didn't set out to start a supplement company. I started Rooted Actives because I was tired of products that promised the world but delivered less.
That search led me to functional mushrooms. The research was convincing. The products on the shelf in the market were not.
Once I started reading labels, the same problems kept appearing. Many products used mycelium grown on grain, so the finished powder is mostly starch rather than the compounds that matter. Others padded the formula with fillers, or named a mushroom on the front and used a dose too small to do anything. Almost none showed a lab report. I couldn't find a brand I would trust for my own family, so I built one.
In 2020, I founded Rooted Actives in Gurugram with a simple standard: use the real mushroom, print the dose on the label and test every batch through an independent lab.
We have held to that standard ever since. It makes our products harder to make and costlier to source, and we think it is the only honest way to do this.

How we make our supplements

Sourcing
We buy mushrooms and herbs from growers we have vetted, and review every ingredient before anything is approved. Where an ingredient comes from decides what ends up in the bottle.

Fruiting body extraction
We extract from the fruiting body, the part that holds the beneficial compounds, avoiding the grain filler found in many mycelium-on-grain products.

Third-party lab testing
Each batch goes to an independent laboratory for identity, purity and potency. We do not grade our own homework.

GMP manufacturing
Approved material is made in a GMP-certified facility, keeping the process clean, consistent and traceable batch to batch.

Batch release
A batch is released only when its lab results match the label. If it fails, it doesn't ship. Results are published for every batch.
