Frequently Asked Questions
Not meaningfully. A capsule shell dissolves within minutes. Powders mainly offer dose control and mixing flexibility.
Put liquid in the shaker first, then the powder. Shake, wait ten seconds, shake again.
Yes. Mushroom and greens powders combine well. Beetroot is usually kept separate because of its flavour.
Warm, not boiling, for mushroom powders. Cool or room temperature for greens and beetroot.
Sealed, cool and dry, with a dry scoop. Do not refrigerate, since condensation causes clumping.
Powder Supplements
Powder supplements are the most flexible way to take your daily nutrition. Stir them into water, coffee, chai, smoothies or milk and adjust the dose to suit you. Our range includes mushroom extract powders, super greens, beetroot drink mixes, maca and mushroom coffee, all plant-based and lab-tested.
What are powder supplements?
Powder supplements are dried, finely milled supplements that you mix into a drink or food. They can be single ingredients, such as Lion's Mane extract or maca root, or blends, such as greens with probiotics or beetroot with amino acids.
The powder format has been used for centuries in India. Churnas in Ayurveda, haldi in milk and sattu drinks are all forms of powdered nutrition. Modern powders follow the same idea with tested, measured ingredients.
Why choose powder supplements over capsules?
Powders and capsules can carry the same ingredients. Powders make more sense if:
- You already have a daily drink, such as coffee, chai or a smoothie.
- You want a larger serving, which is easier in a scoop than in many capsules.
- You want to adjust the dose, starting small and building up.
- You dislike swallowing pills.
- You like stacking, for example Lion's Mane and Cordyceps in the same coffee.
Capsules are better if you travel a lot, dislike any taste or want zero prep. See our capsule supplements if that sounds like you.

How do you use powder supplements?
Mix one serving into 200 to 250ml of liquid, stir or shake well and drink. Follow the serving size on each pack.
Tips for mixing
1. Use a shaker for greens and beetroot to avoid lumps.
2. Add mushroom powders to warm drinks after they have cooled slightly, not to boiling water.
3. Blend maca and greens into smoothies with banana and curd.
4. Stir powders into chai or coffee after brewing, not while boiling.
How do you stack powders?
Keep each powder at its own label dose. Common stacks include Lion's Mane with Cordyceps in coffee, and greens with beetroot in water. The Complete Daily Wellness Duo pairs greens with Power Beets.
How should you store powder supplements?
Powders absorb moisture easily, especially in Indian monsoons. To keep them fresh:
- Close the lid tightly after every use.
- Always use a dry spoon or scoop.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from the stove and sunlight.
- Do not keep powders in the fridge, where moisture can build up.
If a powder clumps in humid weather, it is usually still fine to use. Break it up with a dry spoon. If it smells off, grows mould or changes colour, stop using it and contact us.
How do powders fit into an Indian kitchen?
Powders fit naturally into food habits many Indian families already have. A few simple ideas:
- Morning chai or coffee: Stir in Lion's Mane, Chaga or the 7-mushroom complex after brewing.
- Chaas or lassi: Add a scoop of greens with roasted jeera and black salt.
- Haldi doodh: Add Reishi to warm turmeric milk before bed.
- Smoothies and shakes: Blend maca or greens with banana, curd and dates.
- Nimbu pani: Mix beetroot powder into lemon water for a pink summer cooler.
Avoid cooking powders into dals or sabzis for long periods, because prolonged high heat can reduce some nutrients and probiotics. Add them at the end, once the food or drink has cooled a little.
What is the right amount to take?
Each pack lists a serving size, usually one scoop or one teaspoon. That is the amount most adults take once a day. If you are new to a powder, start with half a serving for the first week. Do not exceed the label serving, and if you stack two powders, keep each one at its own dose. More is not better with powders, and a steady daily serving works far better than an occasional large one.
How do you choose good powder supplements?
The powder supplements market includes many products that are mostly sugar, flavour and fillers. Check these points:
- The first ingredient should be the real active ingredient, not sugar or maltodextrin.
- Clear doses for each ingredient per scoop.
- Low or no added sugar.
- An FSSAI licence number on the pack, as required for health supplements in India.
- Lab testing. Ours are on the certificates page.
Meeting these standards across our range is part of why customers see us as the best organic health supplements brand for powders.
Who are powder supplements for?
Powder supplements suit adults who enjoy a daily drink ritual. They are popular with:
- Coffee and chai drinkers who want to add functional ingredients.
- People who train and want a pre-workout or recovery drink.
- Smoothie lovers.
- People who find capsules hard to swallow.
Are powder supplements safe?
Our powder supplements are safe for most healthy adults at the label dose. Start with half a serving if you are new to greens or mushrooms, as the extra fibre can cause mild bloating at first.
Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take blood thinners, blood pressure or diabetes medicine, or have a chronic health condition. Mushroom coffee contains caffeine. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. To understand how health supplements are regulated in India, see FSSAI's FAQs on nutraceutical regulations.
